Question: What do you believe are the top three environmental
issues facing Hawaii?

1. The environmental review process and applicable laws need to
be revised.
2. A mistaken assumption that a protected environment and a good
economy are mutually exclusive.
3. Sprawl and development encroaching on already scarce
conservation land, waterways and coastal zones
